Fairfax Metal Bed

Description

The Fairfax bed is modern and old-fashioned - all within the same frame. The camelback headboard and footboard are certainly traditional, with widely spaced vertical bars that line up just like the changing of the guard. The curved metal work adds grace, with scalloped shells that grip the posts and the second curved lines of the headboard and footboard. Mushroom-capped feet on the footboard sprout against the floor, with globe finials donning the tops of all four posts. Even with this traditional craftsmanship, the Fairfax still conveys a modern tone. Perhaps it's the cool metal frame, or maybe the scrolls are a little too dashing for an old-fashioned palate. Whatever the case, this bed is designed to please.
